Once the Holy Prophet ( )ﷺwas recumbent (lying down) on the ground in the middle of the group of trees and he hung his sword on one tree beside him. It happened when he returned from battle of Najad an illiterate villager 'badu' came all at once and grasped the sword and decided to plunge (fix) into his ( )ﷺbody. The holy prophet ( )ﷺwoke up from his sleep and descried (caught sight) a figure in front of him saying, "Tell me who will protect you from me today". The holy prophet ( )ﷺreplied with peace and tranquility (peace) in an articulate speech, "Allah" .The villager was overwhelmed with fear, awe and reverence (respect) of this name sent shivers through his spine which made the sword fall from his hand .The holy prophet ( )ﷺpicked up his sword and asked him for who would save him then from his attack? He was speechless; admitting his mistake he accepted Islam.

When the Holy Prophet ( )ﷺdecided to promote and propagate Islam the pagans became his enemies and tried to halt him from spreading Islam. They created many obstacles to refrain (keep away) him from his mission but he did not lose courage and carried on his mission with faith and belief in Allah. Enemies threatened and blustered him and once surrounded his house to capture him. In the clutches of death, the Holy Prophet ( )ﷺdid not lose hope and asked for Hazrat Ali's رضی ہللا عنہ assistance to stay back at home and return people's properties that were kept as TRUST (amanah) with him and assured him that he would be safe and sound. Hazrat Abu Bakr ( )رضی ہللا عنہaccompanied him on his way while he left the house. He recited an ayah and threw a handful of dust which blinded the pagans and they could not see him. He left the house, went and hid in a cave where the enemies chased him following his footprints. There was a time when Hazrat Abu Bakar ( )رضی ہللا عنہwas www.ubqari.org

This shows that the only fear that should be dominant over a human being is that of Allah ( )جل جاللہwho is the only sovereign and everything else should be subservient to Him. Satan and his attacks are very weak and feeble. If Allah wants to save someone, Satan cannot do anything and if allows some harm to a creature, he cannot stop. Once we hold His rope no one can distract us and if we are deviated from His path, nothing can give us peace then.

To get His fear truly, and not to be fearful from anyone other than Him, we should say thrice these blessed words every day, once or twice (morning and evening) a day.The blessed words are:

Hazrat Anas ( )رضی ہللا عنہdid not lose hope and started again and pleaded imploringly from Allah almighty; rainfall started in the middle of his prayer. He completed his salaat and asked the servant to see how wide the shower of rain was. In time of need, make it your habit to ask for Allah’s help by offering 2 rakah Salat ul Hajat and ask from Allah the almighty, whatever you need. Allah does not regard the nafil salah of a person who does not offer obligatory Salat. So offer Salat timely and properly five times a day. Keep a perfect control over your eyes and hands so that you may offer the best salah. Moreover, you will inshaAllah become a true believer.

Hazrat sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani ( )رحمتہ ہللا علیہalways spoke truth because his mother advised him to do so. Once he was travelling with a caravan, before leaving his house his mother had again advised him to speak the truth in all circumstances and he followed his mother's advice. Some robbers attacked their caravan and took away all the possessions of the travelers. Looter shivered with the thought that he is so obedient to his mother that he did not abate his truthfulness even at the loss of his possessions and he looked at himself ashamed realized his mistake and crime and in the agony of remorse, he returned back all the possessions of the travelers and turned out a new leaf, asked for forgiveness from Allah and spent all his life in worship. www.ubqari.org
