As long as she has the acting and vocal chops, I believe Halle Bailey will be the perfect Ariel, and her rendition of “Part of Your World,” should relieve all doubt.

It’s embarrassing and upsetting to see so many people angry about the ethnicity of a talented actress, but the casting has brought as much love as it has hate. To minorities who have grown up in a white man’s world, seeing a brown-skinned princess is life-changing, especially to the little Black and brown girls who have very limited representation.Videos of young Black children reacting to the “Little Mermaid” trailer have gone viral nationwide. These videos document the excitement these children experience after fnding out the next Ariel is Black. “She’s like me!” a little girl beams in one of the videos.

The frst and last time I was in a wedding, I spent well over $1,000. To some, that’s not much at all. To a 21-year-old full-time student working limited hours, that’s too much money to spend on a single day.

It’s 2022 and racial justice and equality still have a long way to go, but little steps like these are a great improvement to guaranteeing positive representation to the little mermaids of all skin colors out there.

“Splatoon 3” is available for purchase or download from the Nintendo Online Store for $59.99. Nintendo has already announced the upcoming Splatfest, which will be Sept. 23-25, and poses the question: “what would you bring to a deserted island?” with the choices being gear, grub or fun.

With the game fully released now, new players can squash the stigma of long-standing overpowered players wrecking their lobbies and can actually level up and have fun while doing it.

Following “Splatoon 2,” the multiplayer turf war battle is the favorite and highlight of the new game, although it comes with many new advancements in spawning, dodging and covering as much turf as possible before the other team can.

The flm is inspired by ficks such as “Sinister” and “Don’t Breathe” in regards to the twist; unlike those flms, there isn’t any kind of setup or motivation for its unspeakable horror, even if it’s a disturbingly perfect idea.

I think that the documentary successfully proves this point with a multitude of evidence.

The biggest thing this documentary has going for it is the quality of the interviewees. Those being interviewed in the documentary personally know Armie Hammer and have had experiences with him.

“Splatoon 3” is set in a new world, the Splatlands, which many people believe to be connected to the past worlds of “Splatoon” and “Splatoon 2.”
