UCASU Black History Month Anti-Racism Education Pack
How to use this Educational Pack This pack is a directory of resources that you can use to further your knowledge of BAME history and culture, as well as the numerous injustices this community has faced in the past and in the present. Feel free to work through it in your own time and at a pace that suits you – there is a wide range of resources so you can choose those that ďŹ t your learning style best. If there are any resources you need to purchase for this study, try to purchase these from black-owned bookshops as Sevenoaks Bookshop, New Beacon Books, or Round Table Books. If you are not a member of the BAME community, understand that coming to terms with your privilege will not be an easy experience and you will likely feel shame and guilt. Remember that it is not enough to dislike racism - you should actively stand against it! The resources in this pack will help give you the knowledge to effectively do this.
