ACADEMICS»UCCS UCCS offers many scholarships and grants to qualified students. Many students may be surprised to find scholarships that are a perfect fit for their background and academic goals. UCCS MERIT AWARDS UCCS reviews students for academic merit awards at the point of admission for eligible first-year and transfer students who have demonstrated strong academic achievement in high school and/or at prior institutions of higher education. Consideration is based on rigorous academic course work, strength of GPA and SAT/ACT as/when applicable. • Chancellor’s Award: Eligible Colorado resident and WUE students receive $10,000 ($2,500 per year) • Peak Award: Eligible out-of-state residents receive up to $25,000 ($6,250 per year) GROWING UCCSTHROUGHOUTOPPORTUNITIESYOURCAREER As you work toward your degree, more scholarships become available to you.
