40 DAYS RESURRECTION

DAYS Resurrection

Hate Sin It was our sin which led the Son of God to Calvary, so every time we sin we crucify Him again and again. Sin cannot be treated with courtesy and can’t be ignored. It does have to be identified, immediately abandoned, hated and never resumed. The human being has power in himself to resist evil and to do what is right, provided that he has the spiritual support for such and this comes only through a dynamic faith in God’s Word. “Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. ” (1 Jo 3.9)

ACTION: Identify your sin, abandon it, hate it and don’t ever go back to it.

Have Self Value

TUESDAY

m a r c h Certain phrases are spoken through the years and in different situations or circumstances. They often originate in childhood, for it is the time when the personality and character of the person are still forming. “Nobody loves me”, “I am worthless” or “have I no luck in life,” are ideas that emerge when we compare ourselves with others and this weakens the spirit, for as God’s creatures, unique and with many gifts, we are incomparable. “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” (1Pe 4.10)

2

1 1

t h

ACTION: Stop comparing yourself with others and assume your self value in this WORLD!

Fight your fears

WEDNESDAY

M a r c h Fear is so destructive as faith powerfully constructive, and the story of Job shows it that so well when he says: “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has happened to me.” (Job 3.25). If we don’t fight fear, it is able to destroy both body, soul and spirit. How to get rid of fear? Admit it, Sense it, believe in the Word of God and pray, rejecting it.

ACTION: Admit it, sense it, believe in the Word of God and pray, rejecting it.

Get rid of worries It is inevitable that occasionally we concern ourselves with the situations of everyday life, but it reveals an intense spiritual weakness to live in constant concern with bills, food or even the future, as Christ himself says: “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Mt 6.25-26)

THURSDAY

t h

ACTION: Detect where your worries are coming from and place them in God’s hands.

Stimulate your faith Unbelief is a synonym of ignorance and whoever manifests this system is clearly lacking knowledge. But the worst part is that unbelief impedes a person to act in faith, for it bemoes a barrier: “Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He (Jesus) marveled because of their unbelief. (Mc 6.5-6)

FRIDAY

M a r c h

t h

ACTION: SIf your spirit has been affected by unbelief then it is time to stimualte your faith.

Invest in yourself Every sin hurts the man from within. It is the worst form of self-destruction, it undermines the image of God in us, destroying our most intimate and offending our moral conscience. And this feeling is enhanced when it we have knowledge of God’s Word. In this context, addictions are merely a reiterated sinful act, directed against the person and that will weaken the spirit, each time practiced gradually. “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Cor. 6.20)

SATURDAY

M a r c h

ACTION: Repeat to yourself: “I am getting better everyday, in every aspect, because Christ helps me”.

Chase away bad thoughts SUNDAY

“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed…” (2 Cor. 4.8-9). In other words, life is a constant struggle, and for anyone who has a weakened spirit, this struggle can become exceedingly overwhelming, but there are those who seek the easy way out, suicide. Many feel offended by this statement but suicide is the ultimate act of cowardice, because the person thinks they can escape their problems, apparently, ending their life also means the end of problems. The suicidal act is the biggest sign of spiritual weakness and deceit of the human being.

M a r c h

1 6

t h

ACTION: Value your life for their is no problem in this life that the Word of God doesn’t give a solution for!

Eliminate Envy Many people are live life moved by a blind envy and because of it commit great atrocities to the extreme of killing. “… where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.” (James 3.16). If their is envy in your heart, try to eliminate it since this is a clear sign that something is wrong spiritually. Envy is like a cancer, that eats you up starting from the spirit.

MONDAY

M a r c h

1 7

t h

ACTION: Don’t waste time observing people’s goals, invest on your own and don’t envy anyone.

Beat all complex There is not one person, among the more than six billion people, who is equal to you, because you were made unique, and the value you have is so high that it was necessary for Christ to shed His precious blood to redeem you. “For you were bought at a price;” (1Cor. 6.20). From now on when the devil comes to accuse you and make you feel worthless, tell him that you are so precious that Jesus shed His blood for you.

TUESDAY

M a r c h

1 8

t h

ACTION: Look in the mirror today and say: “I am God’s child, special and unique!”

Persue your goals It is important for a person to always peruse their goals, for when they become passive their mind is no longer alert or aware. A mind that is passive fails to think and easily is deceived for the lack of action. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Rom. 12.2)

WEDNESDAY

M a r c h

1 9

t h

ACTION: Não espere alcançar os seus objetivos para depois mudar, mude já para que os alcance!

Cast out discouragement Discouragement is to stop breathing, losing the strength to live. The person starts feeling sorry for themself and is convinced that they can do nothing to overcome a situation. Discouragement can only be overcome with a change of attitude: 1st Occupying the mind in search of a solution to the problem, instead of occupying it with feelings of inadequacy; 2nd Reorganizing oneself, starting with mapping objectives, not allowing life to reach a full “stop” in time. “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will[d] have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16.33)

THURSDAY

M a r c h

t h

ACTION: He who observes circumstances, goes on sleeping. The one that looks within arises & reaches their goal!

Fight Comformity The act of conforming is to settle and get used to life the way it is; is to forget that there is a God who can do anything; is to forget that God called you to win. God is not pleased with conformity, He wants to see our effort, dedication and commitment so He can fulfill His plan in our lives. “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. (Rev. 3.15-16)

FRIDAY

ACTION: Invest in yourself, be determined, bold and above all disatisfied.

Control anxiety Um espírito que denote ansiedade está desorientado, com a atenção dispersa e, consequentemente, fraco. Anxiety is one of the most obvious symptoms of spiritual harm in society. We live in a world that is anxioius because of: debts, everyday life, work, love, abundance, youth, old age, life and in many cases death ... A spirit that denotes anxiety is disoriented, with their attention dispersed and therefore weak. About this matter we find the solution in Philippians 4:6: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;”

SATURDAY

M a r c h

n d

13

ACTION: When we believe fervently in our goals we can get rid of all anxiety.

Destroy all lack of trust Muitas pessoas afirmam que esta é uma forma de se defenderem do mundo em que vivem. A distrustful mind is an unbelieving spirit. Many people claim that this is a way to defend themselves from the world in which they live in. Although it is true what the word of God says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength!” (Jer. 17.5), But the other hand the bible also says: “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord.” (Jer. 17.7). In other words do not feed distrust in your mind but deposit 100% of your trust only and solely in God and your projects will be successful.

SUNDAY

M a r c h

14

2 3

r d

ACTION: Change the way you think, for this is the first step in making your dreams come true.

Annihilate Grudges/Bitterness/Hate

MONDAY

This is the great disorder of the spirit, for it contaminates the person and prevents the person from receiving the Spirit of God as the hurt is kept in the heart. If you want to receive God’s forgiveness, you should wholeheartedly forgive the one who hurt you first. This is the only way the Holy Spirit can find space to enter and live in you. Forgiveness has always been part of Divine Nature, so much so that God sent His Son into the world not to condemn but to save it. “Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”.” (Luke 17.3-4)

M a r c h

15

2 4

t h

ACTION: Reject destructive feelings such as grudge for these feelings keep us far from our goals.

Eliminate restlessness Restlessness is a disorder caused by uncertainty or apprehension. It is the lack of a rest of the spirit, anxiety and nervousness. This type of disturbance is manifested by the absence of certainty that the Word of God will be fulfilled, for the person who fully believes in the realization of God’s Divine Promises doesn’t feel restless, on the contrary: “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18.2). Whoever sets this parameter in their relationship with God never suffers from a restless spirit.

TUESDAY

M a r c h

16

2 5

t h

ACTION: Two things make us radiant: our goals and the assurance that we will achieve them.

End all Indecision The most greatest indecision we can manifest is in relation to our own faith! There are clear principles that as Christians, we must follow and obey just as there are also signs revealed by those who are only concerned with living their life. The second type of person always remains undecided ‘on the fence’, without knowing whether they convert or to live life their way. “But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.” (Mat. 5.37)

WEDNESDAY

M a r c h

2 6

t h

17

ACTION: The occasion doesn’t make you a winner, but the decision you make on each occasion.

Contradict pessimism We see the power that exists in verbalizing words. In what we utter: we bless or curse. Our words are like material that we give either to the Holy Spirit or evil spirits to act. That’s why the Bible condemns slanderers. With our words we build or destroy. “And whoever says to his brother, ‘Raca!’ shall be in danger of the council. But whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.” (Mat. 5.22)

THURSDAY

M a r c h

18

2 7

t h

ACTION: Use the inherent power of your words in a constructive way, being positive!

Cleanse yourself from doubt FRIDAY

“O you of little faith, why did you doubt? (Mat. 14.31), was what Christ said to Peter, while he sank before Him. The only antidote for doubt is Faith in Christ, which is what Peter before taking his eyes off of Jesus. This is the effect of doubt in human life, it contaminates, casts suspicion and eventually leads to a crisis of faith, where we no longer believe in anything or anyone. Which will lead us to sink ourselves in the different situations that arise in life.

M a r c h

2 8 t h

19

ACTION: Fight against the spirit of negativity, for it is the soul of doubt.

Overcome Timidity “But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?” (Mark 4.40). These words were spoken by Christ to His disciples. In other words, shyness is the opposite of faith, therefore, who has Faith assumes it openly through action, demonstrating courage and boldness, and does not “hide” behind an inhibition, reservation or a fear of failure: They act without fear!

SATURDAY

M A R C H

20

2 9

t h

ACTION: Have the same courage like your goal has; it did not ask anyone if it could exist!

Respect Authority Showing disrespect for authority, rules or established situations is seen by many as a quality of the spirit, however, having an “irreverent spirit”, as it is often said, is nothing more than adopting a reckless and rebellious behavior. This is not courage or bravery of spirit, because courage is by the acts of Faith, where we do not offend or hurt the authority of anyone. Irreverence is rebellion, and rebellion is a sin of the spirit, that somehow is confused with a quality. “Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.” (Rom. 13.2)

SUNDAY

M a r c h

21

3 0

t h

ACTION: Respect authority by assuming your position as a true Christian.

Be humble Just as humility is considered one of the most admirable qualities of the spirit, in the same way, pride is seen as one of the greatest defects. The Bible says: “A man’s pride will bring him low, but the humble in spirit will retain honor.” (Prov. 29.23). For those who seek to exalt themselves, God turns out to resist them, as He advises us to be like children - pure and humble - so we can inherit the kingdom of God. A proud spirit is an uncompromising spirit.

MONDAY

M a r c h

3 1

s t

22

ACTION: The proud wants to teach, the humble wants to practice.

Learn to forgive yourself Self-condemnation is clearly a way that the weakened spirit finds to redeem itself from guilt. However, people who often choose this route end up punishing not only themselves but also the people they love most. This act also reveals a clear lack of self-esteem, because if our conscience accuses us of something, we should ask God for forgiveness and to whom we hurt and not allow guilt and selfpity to harm us. “OA merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. (Prov. 17.22)

TUESDAY

A p r i l

23

1

s t

ACTION: Stop blocking yourself. Ask the person who hurt you and God for forgiveness, as for yourself.

Be decided Who allows others opinions or words to shape them have a weakened spirit. And do not confuse being influenced with being flexible, because they are 2 very different concepts, since a spirit that is flexible is able to listen to others and find reason in their words, and even follow their advice but whoever is easily influenced ends up being molded by the actions of others, when the One who should have this power over your life is God. Do not be like lice, which lives from head to head. You have to decide what is best for you. “For we walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor. 5.7)

WEDNESDAY A p r i l

24

2

n d

ACTION: You are the one that has authority to decide your goals.

Stay away from complainers THURSDAY

Então, ele apresenta planos, projetos e ideias que provocam situações favoráveis à sua atuação. Words sow blessing or curse regarding ourselves and others too. When we criticize, defame or murmur, we open up a gap for the enemy. Then he presents plans, designs and ideas that provoke situations favorable to his evil work. “nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer.” (1 Cor. 10.10)

A p r i l

3

r d

25

ACTION: Allow your words to always sow hope.

Don’t live by feelings FRIDAY

Faith only works when there is no feeling. This, incidentally, has been the cruelest, most misleading and deadliest poison in the churches, especially in evangelical churches. The feeling of faith adopted has been so severe that it is difficult to separate it from the true Spirit of Faith. Of course, when we are born of the Spirit there is discernment to identify it. And who lives on the basis of feelings goes against the grain of the Faith of the Spirit, because this requires one to contradict our feelings. “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Mat. 16.24). This is the reason why many are called but few are born of the Spirit.

A p r i l

26

4

t h

ACTION: Stop living by your feelings live by FAITH!.

Do not seek for vengeance SATURDAY

Christianity could never survive, and even the coming of the Lord Jesus would have no meaning if the spirit of forgiveness could not work in the depths of the human being. God enables us to confess our mistakes, asking for forgiveness and to forgive but it’s up to our free will to act. When we forgive we allow the New Birth, but when we keep resentment, we leave a loophole for demons and we prevent God to act. “Do not say, “I will recompense evil”; wait for the Lord, and He will save you.” (Prov. 20.22)

A p r i l

27

5

t h

ACTION: The weak never forgive, forgiveness is a virtue of the strong.

Practice Self-Control An emotionally unbalanced person talks too much, likes to intimidate others, treats their neighbor rudely and interrupts during a conversation, wanting to demonstrate that their always right. Therefore, we should always strive to receive and keep the Holy Spirit in our lives, because when we do, we naturally have all His fruits, and self-control is one of the most important ones as it gives us the ability to control who we are and how we react. “So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1.19-20)

SUNDAY

A p r i l

6

t h

28

ACTION: We are the ones who choose how we react to situations.

Don’t practice a blind faith MONDAY

This is one of the most dangerous symptoms, because if the Christian is not careful in keeping a balance, eventually they may end up falling into religiosity and fanaticism. In the time of Christ, the Pharisee was a religious fanatic figure: proud, sinful, spiritually blind, unbelieving, malicious, unjust and hardhearted. Analyze your spirit and see if you have been manifesting symptoms of fanaticism. This can happen when we do the things of God out of obligation and not with faith or love. “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” (James 1.22)

A p r i l

7

t h

29

ACTION: Always analyze your action and conduct, so that you may never fall into a blind faith.

Be still and trust Lendo e aplicando a Sua Palavra e colocando cada situação de difícil resolução nas Suas Mãos. Worrying is something that you consent, but peace is something you pursue. The world offers a sense of peace that only works when everything is fine, however when nothing seems to be favorable but you can stay calm and confident, you are experiencing the God’s Peace. And how can we cultivate this peace - internal - that we are able to control? Reading and applying His Word and placing each difficult situation to resolve in His Hands. “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have[a] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Rom. 5.1)

TUESDAY

A p r i l

8

t h

30

ACTION: Test out God’s Peace, keep still and trust in His Word.

Always say the truth No one may receive the Spirit of Truth while living a lie. In fact, Christ teaches us that our words should be “yes” or “no” at all times. Our sincerity keeps us pure through the Lord Jesus. And do not forget that we will all give account of the words we utter in this world. “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” (Mat. 12.37), so remember, every lie will always have a price to pay.

WEDNESDAY A p r i l

31

9

t h

ACTION: Determine that starting today, you will always be true, with yourself and with others.

Be Faithful to God tampouco permitirá que os espíritos devoradores atuem na nossa vida. The word “faithfulness” in the original Greek, can mean either an attitude of “trust” as well as “Faith”. It is a demonstration of a loyal character to Christ, comig from a complete trust in Him. If we are faithful to God, He will surely be faithful to us and will never cease to provide for our needs, nor allow any devouring spirits to act in our lives. “Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.” (Heb. 10.35)

THURSDAY

A p r i l

1 0

t h

32

ACTION: Always be faithful to God, in little and in much, for this will reveal your trust in Him.

Reject Religiousity Many contemporary churches, unfortunately, are more concerned to present to the people a religious cover than the purity and simplicity of God’s message to man. For this reason, many churches today are just a cartoon of what the early church was, because at that time, men were simple and their knowledge came directly from the Holy Spirit. “But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your[a] works, and I will show you my faith by my[b] works.” (James 2.18)

FRIDAY

A p r i l

1 1

t h

33

ACTION: Reject any act that is based on obligation, for true faith produces action.

Look for the spiritual things SATURDAY

You can use faith for material gain without impeding the spiritual as well as you can use it for spiritual conquests without preventing the material. However, an excessively materialistic world dominated by consumption is much harder to use faith to the spiritual conquest. The teachings of Christ tell us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and the tool of conquest should be used first to reach the Kingdom of God and then for their benefits. “…I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.” (Psalm 37.25)

A p r i l

1 2

t h

34

ACTION: Seek always in first place, the spiritual things.

Seek to have “The Mind f Christ” SUNDAY

Our relationship with Christ changes our way of thinking. And all who claim to be Christians should have the “Mind of Christ”. The Bible says, in 1Coríntios 2.15-16: “Our relationship with Christ changes our way of thinking. And all who claim to be Christians should “Mind of Christ”.” The Christian mind has the actions of Christ and keeps in my mind onlt the things that are good.

A p r i l

1 3

t h

35

ACTION: AFantasies create deception and frustration but our goals bring satisfaction.

Talk more with God Prayer is being in touch with God. Therefore, prayer can be done anywhere, even in thought. A spirit that seeks to be connected to God, longing for His strength is in constant prayer. Whether if it’s to praise Him, thank or ask for help for yourself or others, prayer is the tool to be used. So when we stop praying, it is a clear symptom of spiritual weakness, for we no longer seek God for the solution, but in our own abilities. “… And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Mat. 21.22)

MONDAY

A p r i l

1 4

t h

36

ACTION: Always talk to God, as if it were with a friend, no matter the circumstanc.

Think Positive It is impossible to avoid bad thoughts from coming, but we can avoid them from remaining in our minds. How? Rebuke them with authority and determination in the name of Jesus. As Paul said: “bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…” (2 Cor. 10.5). Logo, ocupe o pensamento com coisas boas, sãs e agradáveis a Deus. Also remember that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. Occupy your mind with good, healthy and pleasing thoughts to God.

TUESDAY

A p r i l

1 5

t h

37

ACTION: Positive thoughts produce positive and correct actions.

Depend only on God The Bible says that Christ often would withdraw from the presence of all to pray or meditate. But there is another kind of loneliness, the one in which the person feels completely abandoned, with no one on their side or favor. Their life is formless and void. This solitude, however, is not beneficial and much less productive, and only remedied with the constant pursuit of the Presence of God for your life. When Christ dwells in us, we are never alone. “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” (Luke 17.21)

WEDNESDAY A p r i l

1 6

t h

38

ACTION: Before seeking help from others, first seek God help and favor.

Fast Regularly When there is fasting, the spiritual body is more loose and more apt to seek an intimate and profound contact with God, which is Spirit. During fasting, the spirit is more comfortable because the desires of the flesh are offset by the strength of the spirit. Fasting is a more fervent prayer than the prayer made with our lips, in our fast we express deep sighs of the human soul, that is in pursuit of the individual and collective benefits. “But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (Mt 6.17-18)

THURSDAY

A p r i l

1 7

t h

39

ACTION: Fast regularly, for fasting strengthens the spirit.

Read more the Bible There can be no perfect communion with God without the knowledge of His Will. When Jesus overcame the devil, He did it by using the Word of God, therefore it is the sword of the Spirit and must also be ours. This time, reading the Bible daily – “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” (Psalm 119.105) is of utmost importance because it is this reading that strengthens our spirit and gives us ammunition to counter attack everything that weakens us.

FRIDAY

A p r i l
