Student maintenance loan – All English students are eligible to apply for a maintenance loan of up to £10,702. The maximum amount a student can borrow is dependent on the living circumstances, where they choose to study (a higher rate is payable in London), and other considerations (e.g. household income). Both loans are available under the same terms. The interest rate is set at the RPI plus up to 3% and a student will start to make repayments in the April after they graduate, once they are earning over £21,000 a year (this is based on 2015/16 information). -VY PUMVYTH[PVU VU ÄUHUJPHS Z\WWVY[ HUK [V HWWS` WSLHZL ]PZP[ [OL government website at ZZZ JRY XN VWXGHQWðQDQFH
