Carmel-by-the-Sea Carmel—a community rich in the history and traditions of early California here are few places on earth as incredibly dynamic, yet so quaint and picturesque as Carmel-by-the-Sea. Situated on the Bay of Carmel in this world-renowned scenic environment, visitors can immerse themselves in the incredible beauty and mesmerizing charm of Carmel’s unique brand of enchantment. Nestled in a pine forest above a spectacular white-sand beach, the one-square-mile village of Carmel offers endless vacation and cultural opportunities within an ecologically harmonious setting. Carmel is a community rich in the history and traditions of early California. Carmel’s Bohemian founders fought to maintain the outdoor mystique and small-town appeal and their efforts are still evident today. The residential district has no sidewalks or street lights, and the beach is unadulterated by commercial development. Homes are known only by name and have no street addresses. Diverse sights and activities await visitors to Carmel who can easily set their own pace taking life as energetically or as leisurely as they desire. Within the village, visitors can relax, unwind and

ne of the most pleasurable and important experiences at Weber Goldsmith Gallery is the opportunity to interact with owner/ designer Bradley D. Weber himself. As our world becomes more impersonal it is notable that the personal touch is what sets Brad apart from the pack. It is the combination of old world approachability and cutting edge design elements that create the pleasing blend that is WGG. Brad has over 30 years experience in the custom jewelry design world and the reputation to prove it. He has received many International Spectrum design awards, the jewelry industries Oscars. One of which, Neptune’s Birth, is on permanent display at GIA’s headquarters and was honored by being the featured piece for their poster, promoting the Year of the Pearl and distributed globally. The clearly evident strong suit of Brad and WGG is in custom creations. Be it a completely new custom piece or a re-design of beloved heirloom jewelry, Brad is the one who excels in creating the exact piece one has in mind. Christine, his store manager of 11 years, often says that this compilation of information, from concept to fruition, is truly Brad’s forte. In keeping up with technological growth, Weber’s has added the CAD/CAM skills of Rob Officer, his on premises Master Goldsmith and Graduate Gemologist. Together they posses all the tools and techniques necessary to hand craft or mill
each custom masterpiece in the on-site shop. In addition to crafting new pieces, WGG also has an astonishing collection of Brad’s designs for sale in the gallery. Carmel is well known as an historical artists enclave, however all that notoriety comes at a cost. Brad consciously chose The Crossroads shopping village, just south of downtown Carmel on Highway One as the location for his spacious showroom and goldsmith shop. The Crossroads enables both the local residents and out of town guests to enjoy a more relaxed and personal shopping experience with an additional artistic flair. You will be inspired by Weber Goldsmith Gallery.

CARMEL MISSION
Carmel Mission, Mission San Carlos Borromeo Del Rio Carmelo, sits behind adobe walls in a quiet area of Carmel. Carmel Mission is considered one of the most beautiful missions in the chain of nine stretching along California’s Central Coast. A selfguided tour of the Mission can be taken, where you will see two separate museums, a replica of the Mission’s kitchen and library, and a re-creation of Father Serra’s ascetic “cell.” At the foot of the main altar lies the final resting place of the founder of the California Missions, Padre Junipero Serra, who died in 1784 at the age of 71. Self guided tours of the Carmel Mission are available as well as a mandatory visit to the Mission Museum gift shop. The Carmel Mission is located at 3080 Rio Road, Carmel, CA.
