game 2K Sports Classic, benefiting Wounded Warrior Project, meeting Boston College in the tourney semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Madison Square Garden at 7 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2. Indiana and Washington will square off in the second semifinal at 9:30 p.m.
THE GAME: The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team (#19-AP, #20USA Today) contiues play in the 2K Sports Classic, benefiting Wounded Warrior Project, by hosting Boston University at Gampel Pavilion at noon. The game will be televised by ESPNU. The Huskies (3-0) are coming off an 101-55 win over Detroit on Thursday at Gampel. The Huskies had six double-figure scorers, led by sophomore Omar Calhoun’s 17 points, and 15 points by senior Niels Giffey. BU stands 2-0 in the new season, coming off a 91-65 victory over UMass Lowell on Wednesday. Dom Morris led the Terriers with 27 points and 10 rebounds, while Maurice Watson, Jr. added 18 points.
