HUSKY BITES Kevin Ollie is in his fourth season as the 18th head coach of the UConn men’s basketball
program, with a career record of 92-41. He reached 50 victories in just two years and he is already sixth on the all-time list of UConn coaching victories. His .692 winning percentage ranks fourth among UConn coaches who have coached more than 20 games and he and Jim Calhoun are the only UConn coaches to win the NCAA championship.
UConn is in its third season as a TV partner of CBS Sports Network and in its fourth
season appearing on the network. The Huskies have an overall record of 15-5 on CBS SN: 2-1 in 2012-13, 3-1 in 2013-14, 4-2 in 2014-15 and 6-1 so far this season. Today’s game is the last of eight regular-season games on CBS SN this season.
UP NEXT: UConn’s last true away game of the 2015-16 regular season will be in Dallas as the Huskies challenge nationally-ranked SMU on Thursday, March 3, at Moody Coliseum. The game will tip off at 9 p.m. (EST) and will be televised by ESPN2. UConn topped SMU, 68-62, on Feb. 18 at the XL Center in Hartford.
