THE GAME: The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team, which has won two straight, four of five, and seven of nine, returns to Gampel Pavilion to play host to nationally-ranked (#7/8) Georgetown on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The game will begin at 7 p.m. and be televised by ESPN2. The Huskies (19-7 overall, 9-5 BIG EAST), coming off an 81-69 road win at DePaul Saturday, are led by junior Shabazz Napier (17.2 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.6 apg) and sophomore Ryan Boatright (15.2 ppg, 4.3 apg). Freshman Omar Calhoun (11.6 ppg) and sophomore DeAndre Daniels (10.7 ppg) also average double figures. Georgetown (21-4, 11-3) has won nine straight, including a 57-46 win at Syracuse Saturday. The Hoyas are led by sophomore Otto Porter (15.9 ppg, 7.7 rpg) and a smothering defense.
