THE GAME: The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team will meet its second straight nationally-ranked team as it faces No. 3 (AP)/No. 4 (USA Today) Louisville in a BIG EAST Conference game on Monday night at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The game begins at 7 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN as part of its Big Monday package. UConn (12-3, 2-1), winner of six of its last seven and coming off a 65-58 victory at Notre Dame on Saturday, is led by junior guard Shabazz Napier (17.5 ppg, 4.5 rpg) and sophomore guard Ryan Boatright (16.1 ppg, 4.5 apg). Louisville (15-1, 3-0) has won 10 straight, including a 64-38 decision over USF Saturday. The Cardinals are led by junior guard Russ Smith (18.7 ppg), junior center Georgui Dieng (9.8 rpg), and senior guard Peyton Siva (5.8 apg).
