UP NEXT: Following today’s game, UConn will begin a three-game homestand, starting against nationallyranked Syracuse on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at the XL Center in Hartford. The game will begin at 7 p.m. and be televised on ESPN.
THE GAME: The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team will travel to Newark, N.J., on for its third consecutive Sunday afternoon game, meeting Seton Hall in a BIG EAST Conference game at the Prudential Center. The game begins at noon and will be televised by SNY. UConn (15-6 overall, 5-4 BIG EAST) is coming off a 71-65 loss to St. John’s Wednesday at Madison Square Garden, which broke a 3-game winning streak. The Huskies are led by junior guard Shabazz Napier (17.0 ppg) and sophomore guard Ryan Boatright (15.6 ppg). Freshman Omar Calhoun (11.1) and sophomore DeAndre Daniels (10.9) are also averaging in double figures. Seton Hall (13-10, 2-8) has been idle since last Monday’s 56-46 loss at Pittsburgh. Junior Fuquan Edwin (16.9) is the Pirates’ leading scorer.
