CBS Sports Network. The Huskies currently have an overall record of 4-1 on CBS Sports Network, having appeared on the network in each of the three games of the 2012 U.S.V.I. Paradise Jam (2-1), plus this season’s victories over Temple and Houston. Today’s game is the third of four regular-season games on the CBS Sports Network this season.

 UP NEXT: UConn is back on the road as it travels

to Tampa to challenge the USF Bulls in an American Athletic Conference game on Wednesday at the Sun Dome. The game tips off at 7 p.m. and will be televised by the CBS Sports Network. UConn defeated USF, 83-40, on Feb. 12 at the XL Center.

THE GAME: The nationally-ranked University of Connecticut men’s basketball team (#21/21) plays host to SMU in an American Athletic Conference game in the next-to-last game of the season at Gampel Pavilion. The game is slated to begin at 2 p.m. and will be televised by the CBS Sports Network. The Huskies (21-5 overall, 9-4 American), winners of four straight and seven of their last eight, are coming off a 68-55 road win over Temple. They are led by senior All-American candidate Shabazz Napier, who tops the team in scoring (17.9), rebounding (6.1), assists (6.0), and steals (1.8). Juniors DeAndre Daniels (13.2) and Ryan Boatright (12.5) also average double figures. SMU (21-6, 10-4), coming off a 68-64 win over Houston, is led in scoring by Nic Moore (14.1) and in rebounding by Markus Kennedy (7.0).
