THIRD LOOK AT CINCINNATI: UConn is 9-5 all-time against Cincinnati and split a pair of games this season against the Bearcats. The Huskies bowed at Fifth Third Arena on Feb. 6, 63-58, as Cincy exploded in the second half to shoot 52.2 percent. The Huskies had three double-fighure scorers -- Shabazz Napier with 16, Lasan Kromah with 13, and Niels Giffey with 10. UConn evened the season series at the XL Center on March 1 with a 51-45 triumph, holding the Bearcats to 27.1 percent shooting. Napier led the victory with 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. ANOTHER 25-WIN SEASON: With 25 wins already this season, UConn has extended its streak of seasons with 20 wins or more to four straight, six of the last seven years, and 15 of the last 17 seasons. It is the 13th season in which UConn won at least 25 games, the previous 12 under Hall of Fame Coach Jim Calhoun. Overall, UConn has produced 30 seasons of 20 wins or more, 20 under former coach Jim Calhoun and two under current coach Kevin Ollie. UConn also extended its streak of winning seasons to 27 in a row. UConn last had a sub-.500 season (9-19) in 1986-87, Calhoun’s first season as head coach. Calhoun then guided the Huskies to 25 consecutive winning seasons and second-year coach Kevin Ollie now has two. VS. RANKED OPPONENTS: Using the AP Top 25 as the standard, Cincinnati will be the ninth nationally-ranked opponent that UConn has faced this season. The Huskies are 5-3 vs. ranked opponents this season after defeating (#15/13) Florida on December 2, (#17/17) Memphis on Jan. 16, (#20/22) Memphis again on Feb. 15, (#11/12) Cincinnati on March 1 and (#19/19) Memphis for a third time on March 13, while bowing to (#18/14) Louisville on Jan. 18, (#7/7) Cincinnati on Feb. 6, and (#11/9) Louisville on March 8. (Indiana was #22 on the USA Today poll, but unranked by AP when it lost to UConn on November 22). UConn is 131-165 all-time against ranked opponents, dating back to the 1950-51 season. Since 1989-90, UConn is 122-95 (.562) against ranked opponents and since the first NCAA championship season of 1998-99, the Huskies are 89-60 (.597) against ranked opponents. In the last 10 years, plus this year, UConn is 60-43 (.583) against ranked opponents. TOP 25: UConn is back in the top 25 rankings in both the AP and USA Today Top 25 for the week of March 10. The Huskies are No. 21 in the AP poll and No. 21 in the USA Today poll. Starting with the preseason poll, the Huskies spent nine consecutive weeks ranked in the polls and have been in the AP Top 25 in 14 of the season’s 19 weeks. The AAC has five teams in the AP Top 25 this week and six of UConn’s 2013-14 opponents also appeared in the AP Top 25 or ‘Others receiving votes.’ The longest consecutive streak for

UConn to be ranked in the Top 25 is 77 weeks, a span from Nov. 1997-Jan. 2001. Consecutive Weeks in the Polls Streak Dates 1. 77 weeks Nov. 1997-Jan. 2001 2. 67 weeks Mar. 2003-Jan. 2007 3. 51 weeks Dec. 1993-Mar. 1996 4. 36 weeks Feb. 2008-Jan. 2010 5. 28 weeks Nov. 2010-Jan. 2012

PERCENTAGE LEADER: With 45 wins in his first 62 games as head coach, UConn coach Kevin Ollie’s .726 winning percentage is the highest of any UConn coach who coached more than 20 games. Ollie is the only UConn coach to win 20 games in his first season and 45 games in his first two years.
