THE GAME: The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team, which has won 5 of its last 6 games, entertains Villanova in a BIG EAST Conference game on Saturday at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. The game beginns at noon and will be televised by ENSN. UConn (17-6 overall, 7-4 BIG EAST) is coming off a 66-58 upset of No. 6 Syracuse Wednesday at the XL Center. The Huskies are led by junior guard Shabazz Napier (16.9 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.4 apg) and sophomore guard Ryan Boatright (15.9 ppg, 4.3 apg). Freshman guard Omar Calhoun (11.3 ppg) and sophomore forward DeAndre Daniels (10.6 ppg) also average double figures. Villanova (15-10, 6-6) is coming off a 68-50 loss at Cincinnati on Tuesday.
