Big City Benefits, Small Town Security

Central is Oklahoma’s largest metropolitan university, providing our students direct access to internships, jobs and the cultural offerings of the Oklahoma City metro – just minutes from one of the nation’s safest suburbs. Central’s presence expands to reach throughout the metro, with facilities like the UCO Boathouse on the Oklahoma River, the Academy of Contemporary Music at UCO and UCO at the Carnegie Centre, as well as UCO at Santa Fe Plaza. This expanded presence creates strong connections with businesses and organizations, providing unmatched opportunities for our students to learn and our community to thrive.

An education at Central means a personal experience. Whether you prefer in-person or online classes, or a mixture of both, Central has options that fit your needs and keep you on track to graduate. Central also offers select degree programs completely online through its Connected Campus. Visit online.uco.edu to learn more.

Track Your Transformation

We know learning doesn’t stop when you leave the classroom. UCO’s Student Transformative Learning Record (STLR) helps you track those unique experiences from internships, volunteer service, involvement in student organizations, cultural activities and more. These activities are tied to our Central 6 tenet categories of transformative learning, represented by the colorful icons to the right. Visit uco.edu/stlr for more information. UNIVE R S ITY
