Social Justice Education Programs

New this year, all Cross-Cultural Center interns with specialized roles are also Social Justice Educators (SJEs) who initiated and created joint educational workshops for diverse audiences. The Hot Topic series, offered in winter and spring quarters, facilitated a conversational-based approach of selected social justice topics with thought-provoking questions that prompted participants to exchange critical perspectives. Recordings of social justice education workshops offered an additional advantage for campus members and the community at large to review educational content using the Cross-Cultural Center YouTube channel.
