In order to understand how a station evolves, one must understand why a station evolves. Over the years the station has manifested as result to advancing technology and the growth of the surrounding neighborhood. The section addresses the purpose of the station in the city, and its purpose role as a node evolving the city into a “station city”, or the station as a social hub, a destination in and of itself. The station grow with the future mobility system and sustainable mobility as a driver of economic development in the neighborhood.
