PROJECT LOCATION: Kolkata SITE AREA: 2 Acres DESIGN INTENT: The Hospital was Challenging in Terms of vast space requirements within the area. The site has rich Context and has to be explored to get maximum benefit out of it for Patients and Doctors, so as to attain peace and Calm environment. NO OF FLOORS: B+G+8

URBAN DESIGN IN KALBURGI URBAN INSERT SEM-7
PROJECT LOCATION: Kalburgi (Gulbarga) DESIGN INTENT: “ Revitalization of Heritage Commons�- An HUL approach for inclusive and Resilient development of cultural landscape. This Urban design Studio aims at Revitalizing th Heritage commons in Kalburgi for which we undertook the study of the place to Analise the city in terms of its built form, spatial organization, tangible , intangible heritage , history, natural system etc. The Process involves making various maps and delineating pockets in the city for the urban inserts in a group and coming up with a common programmed which is looked over individually.

INTRODUCTION TO KALBURGI Gulbarga city is governed by Municipal Corporation and is in Gulbarga Urban Region. It is called one of the Sufi cities having famous religious places, like Khwaja Banda Nawaz Dargah, Sharana Basaveshwara Temple, and Buddha Vihar. It also has a fort built during Bahmani rule. Has many domes like Hafth Gumbad (seven domes together) and Shor Gumbad. Gulbarga has a few architectural marvels built during the Bahamani Kingdom rule, including the Jama Masjid sited in the Gulbarga Fort.

Since it was a small project we dealt from start of area programming to minute details of interiors and was all done on individual bases.
