Solar energy Special business plan was presented to a Swedish company that produces dye-sensitized solar cells. These cells can be affixed to the massive glass frontages of skyscrapers for storing solar energy, thereby not only creating solutions towards saving of costs but breaking new grounds by moving closer towards making devices selfpowered.
India-Sweden Innovation Accelerator (ISIA)
ISIA focuses on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Swedish companies collaborated with their Indian counterparts as per the conditions of Indian ecosystem. Toward:  Sharing technology  Innovation.
Biogas Padmavibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar recently inaugurated a bio gas plant at the WeSchool. The Biogas unit installed at WeSchool will use the wet waste generated in the cafeteria of the campus to produce clean energy that can fulfill a part of its energy consumption. This environment friendly initiative will enable the institute to manage the solid waste at source in an easier and efficient manner; it will also bring in reduction in the usage of LPG gas cylinders.
