Best Bets “Ireland’s Wild Coast” Join Emmy-winning wildlife cameraman Colin Stafford-Johnson on an authored journey along Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coast, providing insights into the wild animals and wild places of the island he calls home. Tune in Aug 2 at 8 p.m. “Ethan Bortnick Generations of Music” Join the talented young virtuoso for a concert spanning generations and genres. Featuring guests Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary), Bethany Yarrow and cellist Rufus Cappadocia. Tune in Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 14 at 8 p.m. “Diana: Her Story” Twenty years after Princess Diana’s death, this new film reveals her story in her own words. What emerges is the narrative of a shy young girl who stepped onto the world stage in 1980 and departed in 1997 as its most famous woman. Tune in June 4 at 9 p.m. “NOVA: Eclipse Over America” Join scientists and citizens alike as they observe the first total solar eclipse to traverse the U.S. mainland in more than a generation. The program chronicles the storied history of eclipse science and follows current, cutting-edge research into the solar corona. Tune in Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. “Hurricane Andrew As It Happened 25 Years Later” Hurricane Andrew, the most destructive hurricane to hit the U.S., roared through MiamiDade in the early-morning hours of August 24, 1992. During the long night, many huddled in their homes and listened to meteorologist Bryan Norcross on the radio. Norcross, now senior hurricane specialist for the Weather Channel, recounts his famous 23-hour broadcast during this epic event. Tune in Aug. 24at 8 p.m.
