Tune in Aug. 21 at 9 p.m. “Hurricane Andrew As It Happened 25 Years Later” Hurricane Andrew, the most destructive hurricane to hit the U.S., roared through MiamiDade in the early-morning hours of August 24, 1992. During the long night, many huddled in their homes and listened to meteorologist Bryan Norcross on the radio. Norcross, now senior hurricane specialist for the Weather Channel, recounts his famous 23-hour broadcast during this epic event. Tune in Aug. 24at 8 p.m.
