Tune in Sept. 6 at 8 p.m. The Jewel in the Crown Returns Based on Paul Scott’s Raj Quartet novels, this dramatic series, first broadcast in 1984, recounts the final days of the British Raj in India during World War II. Tune in Thursdays at 10 p.m. beginning Sept. 8 MASTERPIECE presents Churchill’s Secret Michael Gambon stars as Winston Churchill in this dramatization of Churchill’s life-threatening stroke.
