Why did you choose the major that you did?
I’ve always loved storytelling and been a creative person, and I’m also interested in technologies that can be used to bring these to life

How did you hear about CKI?
I first heard about CKI via tabling at the first student organization fair this fall I recognized key club and thought CKI would be a great opportunity to volunteer, being new to the area, and meet others who like service too Favorite CKI memory?
I really enjoyed LTC! I had a great time meeting CKI members from other schools and spending time with UF CKIers I’m very grateful to everyone who helped organize LTC and make it fun!
What do you expect to get out of your time in CKI?
I hope to continue to build friendships within the UF CKI community and keep serving the community with these friends! What are you most excited for this year?
Currently, I’m looking forward to lock in, as I’ve never been to one and heard great things about it from other CKI members
Do you have any reflections about your time in the club so far?
So far, I have had great experiences getting to volunteer with members of the club, who are all very passionate about CKI and what we do I’ve appreciated how everyone is so helpful and has included me into the community

I want to go into pharmaceutical development and/or production of medicines for people with food allergies

What keeps you coming back to CKI?
I definitely enjoy how people can come together to accomplish great things as a service organization Favorite CKI memory?
Trick or Treat for the Homeless with the Haunted Hayride afterwards The ambiance of the spooky night along with happy CKIers bonding over the Frozen movies made the event extra special
What are you most excited for this year?
Lock in!
Do you have any reflections about your time in the club?
II have very fond memories of CKI members forming life long relationships over a common joy of community service. I am very glad to have grown closer to each and every single one of the amazing people that make up CKI!

We watched the UF women's volleyball game against LSU with our fellow CKIers!

Color-a-Smile
Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that distributes cheerful drawings to senior citizens, our troops overseas, the housebound, residents in nursing facilities, and anyone in need of a smile.
October 11 - Days for Girls
We helped assemble sustainable menstrual health solutions for Days for Girls, a nonprofit that prepares and distributes sustainable menstrual products

CKI Spooky Bingo Fundraiser
We enjoyed some especially ~spooky~ bingo with even spookier people and the spookiest prizes!

Bread of the Mighty Bread of the Mighty provides hope and encouragement to people in the community facing hunger by increasing access to nutritious food. We helped pack donated food

After our GBM, we headed over to Satchel's with our fellow CKIers for some pizza!

Big/Little Campus Scavenger Hunt
We had a campus wide scavenger hunt and got to know more bigs and littles!
October 14Aces in Motion, Dancing through the Decades
We helped with the sign in process for the Aces in Motion event and helped make sure the event ran smoothly!
October 13Salvation Army
Volunteers helped with signing families up for the Angel Tree Program at Salvation Army. This program helps families in need around the holiday season!
October 15UF vs. LSU Face Painting
We did face painting outside the stadium in support of UF in our football game against LSU.

Current Problems
We went to Poe Springs and collected trash on and around the river!
October 16Retirement Home for Horses
Retirement Home for Horses is a non profit organization that provides lifetime care to elderly horses. We helped put a coat of paint on the horses' shelters!
October 17Picnic at the Bat House
We enjoyed a Halloween themed potluck picnic at the UF bat houses!
October 17Acorn Clinic
We helped paint a shed at Acorn Clinic, an organization that provides affordable high quality medical, dental, and mental health services for low income, rural patients
October 18Gainesville Community Ministries
We helped organize and aid in food distribution at Gainesville Community Ministries, a local food pantry
October 20Trick-or-Treat for the Homeless: Bag Distribution
We distributed bags around neighborhoods in Gainesville for Trick or Treat for the Homeless!
October 20Study Social
We struggled through midterm season together at our study social in the Marston Library basement!
Leadership Training Conference
We haunted Camp Kiwanis at this year ' s Leadership Training Conference (LTC). We had the opportunity to participate in service events, learn from Kiwanians, and form new friendships with fellow CKIers from clubs all over the district!

Spreading Kindness
We offered free hugs, fist bumps, high fives, compliments and words of encouragement on campus as part of CKI Week.

Friends of the Library Alachua County Book Fair
We restocked books, worked the register, and helped customers at the Alachua Book Fair. All profits are used for the Alachua County Library District and for community literacy projects

Balance 180 Flip-or-Treat
We helped to set up and clean up the Balance 180 event, as well as help pass out candy!

Kanapaha Gardens
We volunteered to help with parking for the Fall Plant & Orchid sale at Kanapaha Gardens

Big/Little Stadium Sunset Social
We gathered at the football stadium to watch the sunset together from the stands!

We helped out with several tasks such as event setup, handing out candy, decorating cars and event teardown for the YMCA Trunk Or Treat!

Quidditch and Quoffee Social
We rose from the grave after the previous night's chilling Halloween Social and enjoyed a nice uplifting coffee after supporting UF CKI and District Board member Amber in her conquest against the Spider Knights!
October 30Trick-Or-Treat for the Homeless
Trick or Treat for the Homeless is a CKI tradition in which we reach out to the Gainesville community for donations for Saint Francis House, a local houseless resource center We separated into groups to collect bags from houses around different neighborhoods in Gainesville. We ended up bringing over 130 bags of food and clothes to Saint Francis House!
October 30Haunted Hayride Social
We had one last fright to end off this spooky season with a haunted hayride in the dead of the night.
