The artist’s abstract, gestural shapes and bold colors suggest a youthful innocence in his desire for peace and civil liberties, but the brute narratives themselves make no attempt to disguise the horrors of the world. The public is invited to learn about the work directly from the artist during a free gallery talk on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. The talk will be preceded by a reception, with light refreshments served. Free parking available in the Visitor Lot.
