The 2024-2025 FAFSA is used for the following terms:
• Fall 2024
• Spring 2025
• Summer 2025
PRO-TIPS:
• Student Aid Index (SAI) – Your SAI is calculated using the information from your FAFSA and used to determine a student’s eligibility for need-based federal, state, or institutional aid.
• Subsidized loans are need based direct loans with a fixed interest rate; interest does not begin to accrue until the loan goes into repayment.
• Unsubsidized loans are non-need based direct loans with fixed interest rates; interest begins to accrue as soon as the loan is remitted, meaning students will owe more than the original principle by the time the loan goes into repayment.
