THE LATEST UNIVERSITY UPDATES ON COVID-19 (HTTPS://WWW.UH.EDU/COVID-19/)

FALL 2020 RETURN Since our move to online instruction last spring, we have been eagerly looking forward to our return to campus this fall. This summer, the MA in Arts Leadership Program (MAAL) administrators, staff, and faculty have been diligently working in preparation for a successful new academic year. Throughout the planning process, we have prioritized health and safety concerns as we have established strategies to deliver impactful educational activities.

In light of those priorities, fall coursework in MAAL will occur exclusively through online modes of instruction. Instructors for your individual courses will outline any exceptions to this format (field trips, one-on-one meetings etc) on the first class of your course. Any such exceptions will continue to adhere to best practices regarding your health and safety including mask wearing and social distancing.

Should you have any question or concerns please contact MAAL Director Fleurette S. Fernando: fsfernando@uh.edu (mailto:fsfernando@uh.edu) This information is current as of August 17, 2020. Please continue to refer back to this page for updates, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

“The Arts Leadership Program is impressively crafted. The professors are not only industry professionals themselves but they increase access to other industry professionals through guest speaking. The projects assigned are practical and relevant and send students out into the community, which only contributes to each student’s network. Most importantly, my fellow MAAL students are equally impressive, all in their own right. My relationships with them are, by far, my most valuable outcome.” Isabelle Dom (MA ’17)
