Mānoa Academy Online Summer 2018 The Mānoa Academy Online is an innovative statewide program that provides qualified Hawai‘i junior and senior high school students with an authentic college curriculum. Offered by the College of Social Sciences, students are presented with a suite of University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UH Mānoa) online course offerings* available from a broad range of disciplines. Through the program, students gain college-level academic preparedness and increased access to courses that are not readily available in the high school.

Experience college-level classes from the convenience and comfort of home over the summer. Earn credits* toward a UH Mānoa degree and get a jump-start on fulfilling basic UH Mānoa requirements. Receive provisional admission to UH Mānoa – no further UH Mānoa application or application fees required. Enjoy a UH Mānoa tuition deposit waiver ($200 value). Obtain priority registration status - initial freshman term at UH Mānoa.

Admissions

Summer 2018 Course Options

1. GEOG 101 & GEOG 101L - The Natural Environment and Lab (4 credits) 2. JOUR 150 - The Media and Society (3 credits) 3. POLS 110 - Introduction to Political Science (3 credits) 4. PSY 100 - Survey of Psychology (3 credits) 5. SOC 100 - Introduction to Sociology (3 credits) Tuition and fees apply * For information on how these courses may meet dual-credit requirements, students are advised to consult with their high school counselor.
