ESPORTS

The Creative Media program integrates the elements of audio, video, still images, animation, text, and data for the delivery of interactive content. Courses focus on website design, visual design, digital image manipulation, digital audio and video, animation, text, business and project management in order to provide students a broad range of design and technology competencies focused on the field of digital media and web design.

UH Maui College welcomes the National Association of Collegiate Esports, the governing body that focuses on the education and development of students through competitive video gaming. Plans are in place to get competitive, recruit, build a team and get in the NACE esports arena.

HOSPITALITY We embrace a learning environment that symbolizes Maui as a world class destination while recognizing and honoring our host culture and spirit within our island home. "HA," translated in Hawaiian, is the breath of life, the spirit within. We have a responsibility to ensure that the HA of our host culture lives on through what we do. The Hospitality Academy at the University of Hawai‘i Maui College provides future leaders with a stimulating environment that includes hands on training of running. Our learning environment offers state of the art facilities, executive suites, cutting edge technology, green design and sustainability. Students from all over the world come to Maui College for the unparelled Hospitality & Tourism Academy. SUSTAINABILITY Just as trade winds power a windsurfer’s sail at world-famous Ho‘okipa Beach Park, Maui is home to a wealth of renewable energy resources. The University of Hawai‘i Maui College is leading the charge among colleges in the nation to generate 100% renewable energy from on-site solar photovoltaic systems coupled with battery storage. Experience hands-on learning about best practices in sustainability and ignite your passion with the award-winning Sustainable Science Management program available in a 12-credit semester curriculum.

McDONALD'S CORPORATE INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP Business and the entrepreneurial spirit thrive in Hawai‘i. There is no better backdrop for success than the island of Maui to gain business and management experience within a culturally diverse environment. The University of Hawai‘i Maui College offers amazing opportunities for international students to develop corporate training through an international internship with McDonald's - Maui. Students accepted into this paid internship program will receive the opportunity to gain real hands-on work experience as a shift manager working with a culturally diverse collaborative team.
