Con una lunghezza fuori tutto di 80 metri e un baglio di 13,50 metri, il mega-yacht “Chopi Chopi” è la nave da diporto più grande mai costruita da CRN - cantiere navale e brand del Gruppo Ferretti specializzato nella costruzione e commercializzazione di megayacht completamente custom in acciaio e alluminio dislocanti da 40 a 90 metri.

Costruita in acciaio e alluminio, la nave si sviluppa su cinque ponti (lower deck, main deck, upper deck, Owner’s deck, sun deck) più un sub lower deck adibito a zona tecnica, e può alloggiare comodamente 12 ospiti – distribuiti fra sei cabine VIP e la suite Armatore – e 31 membri dell’equipaggio, composti da 23 marinai e 8 persone dello staff armatoriale.

La nuova ammiraglia nasce da un mix di competenze che ha visto la proficua collaborazione tra il team di CRN Engeneering, che si è occupato dell’architettura navale, e lo Studio Zuccon International Project che ha curato le linee esterne e la compartimentazione degli interni. Concepito come una family house, Chopi Chopi rappresenta una sintesi, e al tempo stesso un’evoluzione dei tratti caratteristici, dell’anima e dell’innovazione delle navi firmate CRN, distinguendosi per gli spettacolari volumi, l’ariosità degli spazi, le forme slanciate e le linee morbide, l’attenzione per i dettagli, e per il benessere a bordo, i giochi di luce ed, di fondamentale importanza, il contatto visivo costante e diretto con il mare.

With an overall length of 80 metres and a beam of 13.50 metres, the mega-yacht "Chopi Chopi" is the largest pleasure ship ever built by CRN shipyard and brand of the Ferretti Group specializes in the construction and marketing of fully custom yachts in steel and aluminium displacement from 40 to 90 meters.

Built in steel and aluminium, the ship is spread over five bridges (lower deck, main deck, upper deck, Owner's deck, sun deck) plus a sub lower deck used as a technical area, and can comfortably accommodate 12 guests – distributed among six VIP cabins and suites Shipowner – and 31 crew members, composed of 23 sailors and 8 people master staff.

The new flagship was born from a mix of skills that saw the fruitful collaboration between the CRN Engineering team, which has handled the naval architecture, and the Zuccon International Project firm, which handled the external lines and internal compartmentalization. On request of the shipowner, the concept of the Interior and the style of all the furnishings were designed by interior designer Laura Sessa, the ship was sold in part due to the support of Alain Maraoui – Head of Sea Pros, Ferretti Group dealer.

Restituita alla famiglia Feltrinelli dopo la guerra, la Villa fu acquistata nel 1990 da Bob Burns, il leggendario albergatore. It was the beginnings of Faustino Feltrinelli's commercial interests in 1846 that led to a business empire and fortune that was to see Villa Feltrinelli rise on the shores of Lake Garda.

Some 50 years later, the Villa was requestioned by the occupying German army and an exiled Benito Mussolini was detained here from 1943-45. Having returned to the Feltrinelli family after the war, the Villa was acquired in the 1990s by Bob Burns, the legendary hotelier. Enthralled by its beauty, charm and potential, he embarked on the ambitious, five year restoration project that saw the emergence in 2001 of a world-class hotel, designed to remain true to the Villa's heritage as a family home of note.

Under a regal balcony and into Villa Feltrinelli, every inch of this 21 bedroom property - inside and out - would make even the Feltrinelli family of the late 1800s gasp in awe if they were to return today. VACHERON CONSTANTIN CELEBRATES THE ART OF CLASSIC REFINEMENT WITH THE ART OF PHOTOGRAPHY, PARTNERING WITH TASVEER’S 9TH SEASON OF EXHIBITIONS

In the world of time and precision, the craftsman’s hand plays an essential role. Through gestures inherited from past centuries, it sets out to conquer matter, lingering over the smallest details, while finding the path to perfection armed with patience and concentration.

Saluting this unwavering passion and skill of artists, Vacheron Constantin extends its ongoing support to the art of photography in India by partnering with Tasveer’s 9th Season of exhibitions across the country.

Right from the time of its founding in 1755, the Manufacture has constantly enhanced its creations by providing scope for the expression of artistic crafts, orchestrated by artisans with skilled gestures governed by a blend of patience and dexterity just like for a photographer.

The exhibitions of five key artists span a range of historical periods and styles. Ram Shergill’s sophisticated, polished fashion photographs, Christopher Taylor and Saibal Das, who each explore the more singular aspects of India’s society and cultural landscape, Karl Blossfeldt’s iconic plant portraits which are regarded as a precursor to the ‘New Objectivity’ movement and photographic Modernism, contemporary bodies of work from Sebastian Cortés’ dreamlike images which document the Bohra community in Sidhpur.

The complete range of exhibitions will travel through the year across select galleries in Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Bangalore.

‘It's been a pleasure to continue to partner with Vacheron Constantin, whose support of Tasveer's programme has allowed us to really raise the standard for this season. We've been working with some fantastic artists, writers and curators to put together shows of iconic and classic photography, such as Karl Blossfeldt's 'Artforms in Nature', as well as promoting important and progressive contemporary practitioners, such as fashion photographer, Ram Shergill – who I'm delighted to say will be having his first solo exhibition with us in India’, Said Mr. Abhishek Poddar, Founder Tasveer The photographs in this season bring out the splendour of past and present and at times exploring the symbiosis and layering of cultures through time. Over all, the sophisticated skills displayed through various artists in Tasveer’s 9th Season of exhibitions serve as a reminder that tradition and modernity quite naturally go hand in hand.

Over the years, Vacheron Constantin has given its support to many international projects in the field of art and cultural institutions such as the Opéra National de Paris, the New York City Ballet, the French Institut National des Métiers d’Art and Tasveer exhibitions in India, just to name a few.
