Welcome to the April 2017 edition of the UH Racing newsletter!
A message from UH Racing: The excitement builds with each passing month as we draw closer to the competition date. This year’s car, ‘UH20’, is now completely designed and the big push to manufacture and assemble is upon us. The sooner the car is ready to roll, the more testing

Team Progress The Garrett GT06 turbocharger is displayed in Figures 8 & 9. It can be seen being positioned within the chassis in order to finalise its location within the car. The team are planning to test the GT06 on UH19 to validate its performance. By the time this is completed, UH20 should be ready for the GT06 to be transferred to. The team have a busy testing schedule with many other powertrain system variations that need validation and testing ahead of competition. Again, a big thanks to Honeywell for providing the team with this fantastic product. Figure 8. Garrett GT06 turbocharger

have now manufactured
the pedal-box and pedals, seen in Figures 10 and 11 respectively. The university’s in house 5-axis CNC facilities have allowed the team to be increasingly creative with designs this year, and has also led to shorter lead times on parts. This is a contributing factor that has attributed
