September September 2016 2016 Staff Staff Newsletter Newsletter
Hello everybody, New and returning students moved-in to our residence halls on a high note this August. I'm happy to report that we received zero complaints from families as their loved ones moved into their new homes. Their rooms were clean and ready. I learned that energetic volunteers, incredibly helpful staff and ice cold snow cones are the foundation for a successful check-in. Thank you for your help and patience during my first big move-in.
EXCELLENT NEWS President Staben complemented the smooth check-in, professional staff kindness and the cleanliness of the Willey tour room and suite.
Leadershop 2016 Approximately 60 leaders from the four Community Councils within participated in the Residence Hall Association’s annual leadership training. These student leaders were taught financial policy, fiscal responsibility and parliamentary procedure. Training also included event planning and marketing ideas for hall programs. Also, welcome to RENEE and her fish Sargent Peppers.
