Renovation and Ampliation of Joaquim AmĂŠrico Stadium Curitiba - Brazil - Executive Project, detailings and building plans, accordingly to continuous site analysis. - Drawing of the precast pieces of the new grandstand with a minimum geometric variation, coordinating with the existig stadium. Specific structural project compatibility. - Management and compatibility of architecture and supplementary projects [concrete, metal and foundation structure, air-conditioning, electric, hydraulic and TI systems] - Assistance of work execution. - Meetings with FIFA and Local Committee to coordinate event project requirements. - Approval of building permit.

_Amorim House _Central Courtyard Roof at Florianรณpolis Public Merket _Lajes Public Market Renovation _Geography, City and Architecture



Michel y Sinara Amorim House Curitiba - Brasil / [finished] Architectural Project, detailing and management and compatibility of architecture and supplementary projects, in cooperation with the architect Vanessa Maas. The project came about after three main factors: - the local topography with a 5 m and 25% slope at the border of a private condominium, limited by a private street at the front, a public street at the back and by a protected woodland at one side. - the Curitiba building regulations that sees the lot having two entrances, limiting the height of the construction at the backside of the lot. - the desire of the clients to construct the maximum of area permitted by the building regulations. These three factors conditioned the spacial disposition of the project by staggering of the house wich permits to respect the limit of two floor at all the lot. These way, an intermediate access floor organizes the house with the social area. The presence of the existing woodland is posible by large windows at the height of the tree crown.

Florianópolis Public Market Central Courtyard Roof Open competition Competition to built a roof over the central courtyard of an historic building of Florianópolis. Designed in cooperation with the architects Barbara Becker and Vanessa Maas, and structural consultant Victor Alves. - The competition required a retractable roof and a reversible structure that could be disassembled. - The project suggests a minimal intervention: central columns, far from the existing buildings and a roof cantilevered over it, without touch it. - The steel ‘V’ shaped structure forms a gutter to capture the rain water. And a translucent surface closes the space, retractable at the center and fixed at the edges. - Under the roof, a suspended wood mesh (muxarabi) creates shadows under a more intimate scale, an interpretation of a local azorean craftwork. - The separation of the new and old buildings permits visualize the original construction details.

Lages Public Market Renovation Open competition Competition to renovate and enlarge the Lages Public Market, an historic building tha suffered a lot of changes that mischaracterized the original details. Designed in cooperation with the architects María José Pita, Verónica González and Vitor Takahashi, and structural consultant José Galafel. - The most intense change is an addition over the original courtyard. The removal of these piece re-opens the courtyard as a organizer element of the market. - To respond the gross area requirement, a new shed is built. The market wides its facade and it defines the limit with its neighbor. The separation between the two buildings permits organize the access ot the three parts: the renovated market, the new building and the re-open courtyard. - The new building is elevated, as it can eliminate the excess of diggin near the existing market and diminish costs
