Bio Polish by born, highlander by upbringing, designer by education. A graduate of the BA studies at the Pedagogical University in Cracow. Studies are an opportunity for me to develop intellectual processes that in the future will allow me to interesting and creative design. I like to work in relation to the current socio-cultural image, to examine the relationship between the subject and the user in the context of existing values, norms and beliefs. I normally drink two coffees and sleep for eight hours, but when the situation requires it, I drink eight coffees and sleep for two hours.

Wax alarm clock A picture of technology that took responsibility for its own decisions emerged from the restoration of innovative gadgets. The designed alarm clock was made of paraffin. The internal clock mechanism has been connected with a heater that gradually melts the alarm clock during an alarm. We wanted to give free choice to the user. This gadget visualizes the consequences of our everyday choices. Cooperation: Agnieszka Pałuk Tutor: Dominik Lisik

Souvenirs from the Archaeological Museum The direct inspiration for this project were tools from the Lower Paleolithic, the oldest discovered so far. The combination of two concepts led me to this association: primitive and primitive. At that time, I wanted the project to refer directly to the beginnings of humanity. The archaeological museum is looking the farthest back for that I chose them. As a souvenir from the museum, I proposed stones. Found in no way rough, but with an interesting, maybe inspirational form. I decided to restore the revelations and openness that were in our ancestors who discovered stones as tools. The stones stand on wooden bases with a beveled upper edge which is supposed to emphasize the differences between what is shaped by nature and the shaped hand of a man. Tutor: Urszula Kowal- Kiraga

Washing glove for older people The glove is the answer to the task of designing a random tool for a random target group. The idea of washing gloves developed by analyzing the motility of older people’s hands. To make it easier for them to wash the dishes and ensure that this operation is done as accurately as possible, the form of the glove has been chosen. It eliminated the intermediary tools, the operation which could create older problems, which translated into a lower quality of life. The project is implemented to the model phase. Made of silicone glove in purple with glued sponge cle aning elements. The drawn color scheme is gentle, it evokes nice associations. Tutor: Aleksandra Satława

devotional articles
Devotional items are items that they have serve to zealously practice religious. Contemporary body cult and beauty prompted me to design new devotional articles. I present a protein supplement in the form of a communiquĂŠ. Profanum connects with the sacrum. Tutor: Urszula Kowal-Kiraga

Modular pavilion
square in front of the National Museum in Krakow
A project inspired by Alexander Graham Bell’s first kites. It was supposed to create the impression of lightness on the square with such a overwhelming lump of the main building of the NMK and busy avenues. Nylon, unclassified but lightweight material would be spread on wooden frames. Cooperation: Anastasia Placec Tutor: Dominik Lisik

safety
Safety in design. That’s how I decided to develop the topic of safety. As a way of conserving aesthetics and a few fashionable elements: tactile cable or rods at the legs of the furniture. I drew formal inspiration mainly from projects from IKEA stores, which is one of the largest design suppliers for our homes. I was wondering how much work I have to put into designing a nice set that would appeal to both laymen and designers, it would fit everyone’s taste. It turned out very easy. Does this test me very well as a designer or bad about willing to please everyone? Tutor: Bartosz Mucha PhD

Anti-tool
Designing an anti-tool. The first step to completing the task was to ask the question: What is a tool? It is not only a full range of building and renovation tools that fit into the oldest category: manual drive. A tool is something that makes it possible to achieve a goal. The anti-tool is not something that leads to the opposite purpose, because it is also a goal, it must be completely pointless. As a response to this task, I presented a block of aerated concrete connected to the power cable, and an apple cast from overdue medicines. Both objects have no practical application, but they can lead the recipient to the intellectual process as well as the cognitive value. Objects derive from the art-poetry aesthetics. Souvenirs from unfulfilled journeys Design of emblematic 3D models to be downloaded from the website. Models show the greatest attractions (according to Tripadvisor) in the 10 most popular tourist destinations. The project is to emphasize that even when the life situation makes us unable to afford anything we dream big. We charge the model when we are aware that in the foreseeable future we will not fulfill the great dream of traveling to a given place. Before downloading, we can determine the level of blur of this dream on a three-level scale, whether we know exactly what we expect in a given place or not. Unfulfilled dreams replace here the experience of staying in a chosen place. The project compensates for the unfulfilled dream with full uniqueness, before downloading it is changed by the parametric program which ensures the individual character of each souvenir taken. The models also refer to the concept of the broadly understood form and what it is about the essence of places. Tutor: Marcin Klag PhD
