Industry sector seminars, workshops and webinars
An innovation for Interspill 2022 will be the focus of the event on particular relevant sectors.
These have been chosen as: 21 June– Ports and Harbours | 22 June – Shipping and Salvage | 23 June – Clean Seas
On these days the conference streams will be oriented to these sectors. However the industry seminars and workshops will focus solely on these sectors.
The format for each day is as follows:
Tues 21 June – Ports and Harbours
1330 – 1410 Sector VIP (s) set out the challenges their industry (ies) have over the next 5-10 years
1410 – 1430 Questions and short discussion
1430 – 1500 Industry response
1150 – 1530 Refreshment break
1630 – 1700 Open forum and discussion and closing comments
Weds 22 Jun – Shipping and Salvage
1100 – 1140 Sector VIP (s) set out the challenges their industry (ies) have over the next 5-10 years
1140 – 1200 Questions and short discussion
1200 – 1230 Industry response
1230 – 1330 Lunch
1330 – 1400 Industry response
1400 – 1500 Industry response
1500 – 1530 Refreshment break
1530 – 1600 Open forum and discussion

Thurs 23 June – Clean Seas
0900 – 0930 Sector VIP (s) - Mimmi Throne – Holst, Research Director SINTEF sets out the challenge to maintain clean seas (in particular marine debris (primarily from fishing) over pollution in coastal waters (sewage and agricultural run off) and plastic pollution) over the next 5-10 years

Supporting ‘Interspill Inform’ webinars
All will agree that the issues and solutions facing each sector themed day cannot all be covered in one day of seminars and workshops.
Therefore, to support each day and to extract best value for those interested, we will run a series of two or three webinars PRIOR to the June Interspill face to face event which will set out some of the issues each sector has to manage, analyse them through research, causes of particular issues, case studies, best practice etc so that the sector themed day at Interspill, which is face to face, hears solutions from industry for the benefit of the sector.
The closing session of each day focuses on production of a White Paper presenting an outcome of the whole discussion process and listing all who have contributed through the webinars and at Interspill.
