WELCOME! SOUTH AFRICANS ARE HAPPIEST WHEN THEY CAN COMBINE CHEESE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE 17TH SA CHEESE FESTIVAL IS ABOUT. The SA Cheese Festival is known as the biggest outdoor culinary event in Southern Africa, with numerous accolades over the past few years, including the AXXO award for Best Consumer Exhibition in Southern Africa for two years in a row. Agri-Expo, organiser of the SA Cheese Festival, dedicates this award to all our partners, exhibitors, suppliers and visitors. The SA Cheese Festival has grown from humble beginnings to hosting 30 000 people over three days, with an average of 30 tons of cheese at the festival. We appreciate your continued support! As always, cheese remains the focus of the festival. Cheese makers from all over the country bring their very best for visitors to taste and stock up on. The SA Cheese Festival also offers premium wines, beer, freshly baked bread, meaty treats, sweet delights plus great recipe ideas to perfect the feast. For lunch you’ll be spoilt for choice in the Gourmet Lane. Meet the dairy animals in the Milk Factory and be on the lookout for the brandnew Président Pop-up Shop, Small Cheese Makers brought to you by the Western Cape Department of Agriculture and Absa, a focus on international cheese at the Checkers stand, and new product launches throughout the festival. Celebrity chefs galore will cook up a storm in our three food theatres. Join guest chefs Herman Lensing, Zola Nene and Johnny Hamman in the Cape Made Kitchen. In the Standard Bank Tasting

Room visitors will be treated to cheese pairings with SA’s Top Ten Chenin Blanc wines, craft beer and a variety of teas. Jenny Morris, Kamini Pather, Pete Goffe-Wood and Carmen Niehaus will entertain guests in the kykNET Cooking Pot. Do not miss the action when four amateur chef finalists show off their water-wise cooking flair in the #YourWheyWithCheese Cook-off in partnership with Heart FM! Enjoy live music at the Stellenbosch Vineyards Music Gazebo with Nic Stevens (Friday), Kurt Darren (Saturday) and a line-up of other popular artists. Safe fun awaits the little ones in the Kiddies Corner. Make sure to enter the Ladismith Cheese Carving Competitions where great prizes can be won with your cheese masterpieces!
