This document presents the results of an evaluation of Brussels’ Regional Program for Circular Economy and its achievements since 2016. To carry out these evaluations, the Chair for Circular Economy and Metabolism (Chair Circular Metabolism) mobilized two academic experts of international renown in the field of circular economy: Jean-Baptiste Bahers from the University of Nantes and Franck Scherrer from the University of Montreal. To facilitate the transposition of the evaluators' input into the new phase of the Regional Program, this document contains a summary of the main points of attention raised in the external evaluations. We also propose two new measures that could address most of the weaknesses mentioned by the evaluators and thus substantially improve the regional program during this second phase.
