Foote Fellows Honors Program
Explore interdisciplinary connections among the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities in the spirit of Leonardo da Vinci in this elite honors program.
As a Foote Fellow, you can explore a multitude of educational resources, which many leverage into an opportunity to take additional majors and/or minors and to study abroad.
Directed Independent Language Study (DILS)
Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) Program
DILS is an excellent opportunity to prepare for a study abroad program or to brush up on your heritage language.
Underrepresented minority students interested in biological research and scientific discovery can participate in this research program through the Department of Biology, funded by The Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
First-Year Seminars Small courses exclusively for first-year students in the College of Arts & Sciences. Courses are created and taught by distinguished faculty and are designed to introduce first-year students to the breadth, depth, and interconnectivity of the liberal arts.
Pre-Health We offer individualized pre-professional advising, coursework, and research opportunities if you aspire to continue to medical school. We also provide guidance for students interested in veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatry, and chiropractic care.
Advanced Program for Integrated Science and Math (PRISM) PRISM is a rigorous honors program linking the STEM fields through inquiry research in small, collaborative classes.
