ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS

I’ve been lucky to work with some incredible skincare and beauty brands. I take my skincare seriously, but like many women I’d completely forgotten how to wear makeup after lockdown. I was using products from the depths of my makeup bag, applying my foundation with a trowel and seem to have developed colour blindness as to what colour now suited me, or my complexion. ALL HAIL THE BWS!

IT girl fashion trends are not usually wearable in the real world, but not this summer! The wardrobe piece the fashion world is fixated on right now is the sublimely simple white shirt, but take note this season it’s go big or go home! The hottest fashion item to wear right now is the BWS (big white shirt of course). Supermodel Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner have been snapped wearing this season’s essential piece dressed up and dressed down. Even better news is you don’t need a designer label to rock this look. My favourite BWS come from charity shops – go for a man’s oversize shirt, they’re usually far better quality, wear over a favourite tee with a pair of shorts or chino’s, heels, sandals or trainers and voila, you’re hot to trot!

A STICKY END FOR DUCT TAPE

Great news! Here’s another exciting use for duct tape. The wonder tool for leaking pipes makes swimwear too! Bikinis made entirely from fashioned strips of black duct tape have been modelled at Miami Swim Week. Its’ a knockout look and you’re sure to be popular with people who need to lag a u bend!

THE ODD COUPLE

When I read about the Queen of Cool, model and fashion ICON Kate Moss and Kim Kardashian being new besties I have to admit I raised an eyebrow! KK and Mossy recently revealed they are besties with Kate being revealed as the new face of Kim’s shapewear brand SKIMS. This seemingly unlikely friendship made me think about some other unusual celebrity pairings. Remember Dot Cotton and Lady Gaga. Chain smoking EastEnder’s legend Dot aka actress June Brown met Lady Gaga on Graham Norton’s chat show in 2013 and the two just hit it off immediately. Steven Seagal and Vladimir Putin, an unnervingly weird friendship arose between the Hollywood hero and the President of Russia. A long-time admirer of Putin, Steven (who has been a Russian citizen since 2016) recently joined the pro-Kremlin party just to get closer. The mind boggles!
