TIME TO TEE OFF Golf is back
TIME TO TEE OFF
With lockdown restrictions easing local golf courses have been able to allow members back on the green for the fi rst time in months... and just in time for the glorious spring weather!
The COVID-19 lockdown has been hard on us all, so it has been a great relief for sport lovers and golfers to be back out in the fresh air, safely enjoying some exercise with friends and family. With the next phase of coming out of lockdown just around the corner, it won’t be long until the golf clubs across Northern Ireland can open up their facilities completely to allow people to enjoy a meal in the club restaurants.
GIVE GOLF A GO:
Our top reasons for playing golf
- Social: Golf is a great social sport, which you can play alongside friends and chat as you play – not to mention popping into the club afterwards for lunch or a drink to make a day of it.
- Fresh Air: Getting out to play golf allows you to be out in the fresh air, which is a great way to reduce stress and boost your immune system.
- Scenery: We are very lucky in Northern Ireland to have some of the best golf courses in the world for their scenery. While you exercise you can take in the stunning views of the coast or the countryside.
- Brain power: Golf not only requires focus and concentration, but also a bit of maths is involved for working out scores. This is a great way to keep your brain in tip top condition.
