The second event entitled, “Harry’s Day”, a Charity Golf Day supported by the “On The Wall Golf Society” was hosted at the beautiful Edenmore Golf and Country Club. Some 60 people participated in a day blessed by good weather, fi ne dining and fond reminiscence of our dear friend Harry. The Charity Golf Day raised £1820.00. TIPS FOR A WONDERFUL WALL
A lick of paint
The easiest way to give your home some character is by painting your walls. It is vital that you work from a clean, dry and smooth surface. Preparation is the secret of a good-looking finish. Make sure you give yourself at least half a day and spread dust sheets over the floor before you tackle the job.
Get creative
Why not think outside of the box and come up with some unique displays for your walls. Even something as simple as a bookshelf will change the style of the whole room.
DIY display
Pictures, posters, paintings and other framed items are a great way to break up space on a wall. Try hanging a uniform set of frames or mix and match, according to your taste. Family photos add that special touch.
Wallpaper
A popular choice, wallpaper is great for adding depth and will make the most of your room’s strong points. Nowadays, there are hundreds of styles available and it is readily available to brighten a dark room, add character to a dull space or create a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.
