UV Taking eye protection seriously with UV protection... We love the sun but realise the importance of protecting our eyes from harmful UV rays when swimming. For this reason we have included UV protection as a standard feature on all goggles since 1992. As well as our standard UV360, we have introduced UV400 maximum protection (blocks 99% - 100% of UVA and UVB rays) to ensure swimming is as safe as it is enjoyable.

The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF in short) rates the protection of sun creams, sunglasses and fabrics. At Zoggs our market leading Sun Protection range is fun and bright but most importantly provides at least a 50+ UPF protection, blocking over 97.5% of the sun’s harmful rays. The way we achieve this very high level of protection is through fabric knitting and fibre technology, however the protection can be reduced when: • The fabric is stretched and on tight fitting areas such as the shoulders • The fabric is wet • The fabric is ageing due to the effects of wear and tear
