Flexible delivery methods this programme has been designed so you can study without having to take time off work during the working week. Teaching is delivered in intensive weekends once a month. In between these weekends you will be applying what you have learned to your work and connecting with tutors and fellow participants online. Networking opportunities over the course of your studies you will have many chances to meet and network with industry experts, enabling you to form close networks with them and your fellow participants.
This programme has five themes which are reflected in all the modules through their content, teaching methods and style of delivery.
Academics who are also practitioners all the modules on this programme have been designed by academics who have also worked in the travel and tourism industry. The programme team offers a wide range of different types of industry experience, from airlines to hotels, from travel agencies to destination management companies.
Internationalism built into the content of the programme; the international experience of the teaching staff, external practitioners and industry experts will enhance your learning. Professionalism and employability use this opportunity to build your own network through attendance at industry events, membership of professional bodies and contact with fellow professionals. Technology this programme includes consideration of technology, its use and impact, in every module, you won’t simply be learning about technology – you will be using it. Ethics and sustainability included in every module on the programme to ensure you are fully versed in the ethical and environmental issues facing managers in all areas of the business.
