As the founder & designer for Ulu, my responsibilities included design and development of swimwear, accessories, and trims, sourcing of materials and factories. Trend and color forecasting. Research, develop and maintain business relations with retail and wholesale clientele. Work closely with all production contacts to meet major deadlines, negotiate costing with overseas vendors for all seasonal developments. International factory visits, fittings & prototype review, create PO’s, invoicing & sales. Build marketing and branding materials: develop pricing, product descriptions, product photography, image editing and color correcting, create print-ready artwork for trims and packaging, lookbooks, linesheets, and other presentation materials; currate photoshoots. General office management.
