MARKETING

The following is a summary of key metrics and highlights from the year’s marketing efforts:

Advertisement

• 584 new social media followers • 5,125 total followers for a 12.8% increase from 2016/17 • Over 8,500 post engagements • 14,058 video views

• The Recreation Services home page received an average of 114 visits per day with a bounce rate of only 29.6%.

• 35,594 email list subscribers • 112 emails sent with 1,013,149 deliveries • 499,600 total opens with an open rate of 38.44%, significantly above industry opens • 14,626 total email clicks with a click rate of 3.65%, up .05% from last year.

• 3 sponsorship contracts were secured for the year generating $11,100 in sponsorship income

• 16,000 Recreation Services activity guides were printed • 30,000 pamphlets were printed and mailed out to a 10km radius around campus • 29,162 on-line digital impressions with an average read time of 4.81 minutes

• A new blog page was created providing expert personal training tips and advice • 6 blog posts were published receiving 2,365 page views
