Umbrella

Umbrella is produced by Richard Lukehurst, Client Involvement Officer for Supporting People in Northamptonshire, and volunteers from a range of client groups. Supporting People is a government grant programme that funds housing related support. The services who receive funding help vulnerable people improve or maintain their ability to lead independent lives; this might include supporting someone coming out of homelessness obtain their own tenancy, enabling an older or disabled person to stay in their own home or helping someone to flee domestic abuse. Supporting People strive to deliver high quality, needs-led services that are strategically planned and complement existing care services. Umbrella is produced by volunteers who work closely with Supporting People's Client Involvement Development Officer.
