Laura McMahon, also known as Brain Foetus, is a Fremantle native now living and working in Hobart, Tasmania. Her work calls upon a host of recurring characters to reside in a continuous narrative of increasingly colourful and elaborate dreamscapes. These works represent making sense of feelings and searching for a sense of belonging within the artist - a reunion with the inner child.
