In the Chinese Style Ralph Knight & Lin MiN En A Main Space exhibition of Chinese calligraphy and ink painting by the master of Li Shu calligraphy, Lin Min En and his Australian pupil, Ralph Knight that showcases the potential of artistic and cultural links between Townsville and southern China. EXHIBITION OPENING 7pm Friday 25 January by Susan Roberts, Regional Arts Development and Townsville Sister City Committees. Bamboo flute “when the moon rises” performed by Zeyang Jiang UMBRELLA TALK & DEMONSTRATION 6pm Friday 25 January An UMBRELLA Chinese New Year celebration 10am-12pm Sunday 10 February Umbrella Studio will celebrate Chinese New Year with a drop in workshop of chinese fan paintings. $10 participation fee. EXHIBITION DURATION 25 January - 3 March 2013
