As part of an on-campus internship project in UMES’ Office of Marketing, Julia Rocha produced an eight-part comic strip series, Froggy Fiascos!, published during the fall 2016 semester in the university’s newsletter, The Key. The serial strip follows the (mis) adventures of an amphibious first-year college student familiar to current and past generations. Ms. Rocha received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Design on Dec. 16, 2016. She epitomizes the kind of creative talent found in UMES’ student body.
