The Board and Staff of UMI Arts invite you to attend the official launch of Pathways 4 and Freshwater Saltwater: Connecting to country exhibitions

Pathways 4 brings together works by four Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists who have successfully completed UMI Arts’ skills-based program, Exhibition Ready over the past year. Pathways 4 is on display from 14 August - 25 September 2013 in the UMI Arts Michl Gallery.

Freshwater Saltwater: Connecting to country is a curated exhibition that showcases the works of eighteen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from Far North Queensland. Together they explore the theme, ‘Connecting to country’. Freshwater Saltwater is on display from 14 August - 25 September 2013 in the UMI Arts McIvor and Missi Galleries.

Exhibition launch enter tainment will include traditional dance by local Aboriginal dancers, as well as a performance by Danny Boy; a singer/ songwriter from the Torres Strait Islands
