2022 EXPERIENCES ADVENTURE AWAITS IN NEW YORK AND BOSTON Come join us as we we tour Boston and New York! Some highlights: Little Italy, Ellis Island, a Broadway show, Central Park, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, walking tour of Charleston, Museum of Science, Holocaust Memorial, guided tours, delicious food, and sightseeing. ART AND ARCHITECTURE ON THE GULF COAST Come explore a variety of artistic techniques as we visit galleries and architecture that give Mobile and the Gulf Cost its unique flavor. From Mobile to Fairhope to Biloxi to New Orleans, we will learn, experience and create! Some of the many adventures you will experience: a hot shop (glass blowing), painting, photography, clay, architecture, and the tastes along the way! We will have private tours (Old Mobile tour which will showcase exciting architecture in our city, and on to New Orleans to enjoy historic architecture on a private tour). architecture tour in New Orleans, in a hands-on experience you will never forget! CRIMINAL JUSTICE, LAW AND POLITICS Interested in politics? Criminal justice? The court system? If so, this course is for you! Day trips, a mock trial, crime scene experiments, guest visits and tours are just a few of the adventures ahead. Students will visit courtrooms, law enforcement agencies, a City Council meeting and the prison, Students will learn about the legislative process and the criminal justice system, including crime scene investigation, rights of the accused, and trial procedures. ARCHAEOLOGY 201 Students will expand their knowledge of the history, skills, methods, and career paths related to the field of Archaeology. Students will explore the field of archaeology through interaction with archaeological and historical professionals in a variety of settings. This course will include overnight a trip to explore a local archaeological site in the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, and two-day trip to New Orleans to research, learn, and explore under the direction of a variety of archaeology and history experts. The week will be capped off with a two-day hands-on field work experience at a site in South Alabama. COASTAL CULINARY COMFORT Students will have a coastal culinary experience they will never forget! From the basics to crab cakes to a five star meal, students will have a hands-on learning adventure in the culinary arts. At Bodacious in Pensacola, FL students will learn how to create from the best while partaking in a culinary class where they will learn basic and advanced aspects of cooking! They will explore the culinary arts and delve into careers in the food industry. Students will travel to Silverhill, AL where they will learn under the expertise of Chef Dede Trotter. They will also attend cooking demonstrations and learn the difference between quality and quantity food cooking. They will journey to NOCHI in New Orleans, a culinary and hospitality institute, to have a full culinary experience! From tailgating to fine dining and everything in between, if you love to eat or have an interest in food, come join us!

DESIGN, BUILD, FLY Explore the world of aerospace manufacturing at Flight Works Alabama, an innovative and inspiring aviation education center at Brookley Field. Tour the Airbus Final Assembly Line, understand the science of flight, learn skills of 3-D printing and sublimation, test your droneflying ability with Drone Basics, and gain NC3/Snap-on Tool Certifications. 2022 EXPERIENCES EXPLORING RECREATIONAL SPORTS

FORESTRY, WILDLIFE AND LAND MANAGEMENT

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Do you want to learn more about recreational sports? The focus of this course is outdoor recreation. Students will learn the finer details of fishing from casting, lure selection, etiquette and identification. Students will also learn more about hunting safety, wildlife safety, conservation and the environmental impact. This adventure will culminate in a trip to Orange Beach for a fishing and dining experience!

We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. Besides providing habitats for animals and livelihoods for humans, forests prevent soil erosion, mitigate climate change, and offer watershed protection. These students will study soil to timber harvesting, land surveying, and wildlife management in protected areas. Students will have a hands-on learning experience in the woods, in the mill, and in the office at Grands Plantation.

GULF COAST HERITAGE TOUR Venture into the worlds of Mobile and New Orleans as we combine and compare the history and richness of the two cities. Some of the many expeditions: Overnight in New Orleans - the grave tour, a ghost tour at night, delicious food and a visit to the aquarium. In and near Mobile - Dauphin Island Sea Lab, National Maritime Museum, Five Rivers tour, African-American Heritage Trail, ferry boat ride, Fort Gaines, and Fort Morgan, McCormick, Perkins (formerly Bryant)

This course will allow for practical experience in a profession/occupation of interest. Serve. Learn. Speak. Immerse yourself in the community of Minneapolis through the Urban Immersion Service Retreat. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the complexities of poverty through team building activities and critical reflection. 2022 EXPERIENCES PARIS, LONDON: THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER

PHYSICS XXTREME Some highlights of this physics XXTREME extravaganza: US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, indoor skydiving in Atlanta after flight training, STEM labs and activities, trips to the Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola (Max Flight Simulators, 4D Blue Angel Theater), the Infinity Science Center in Slidell, the University of South Alabama, and much more! Students will become active participants in the world of physics and aerospace. Hands-on experience + overnight travel = a physics adventure you will not forget.

This 9-day trip will take you to places you have heard of but never dreamed you would experience! This experience aims to teach students innovation, teamwork, engineering, and technology in activities designed exclusively for youth groups. Students will have interactive, behind-the-scenes experiences they will never forget at Universal Studios and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Each day will be full of actionpacked entertainment and experiences. Learn, Celebrate, Play!

Join us as we dive into the world of interior and exterior design. We will learn to enhance the interior of a building to achieve a a pleasing look for the people using the space, and we will engage in the process of enhancing the exterior to create curb appeal. This course will teach you to stage homes, create positive spaces, and re-think design around you. We will tour homes on the market and become active participants in the design process!

TAKE A JOURNEY THROUGH THE GULF OF MEXICO AND BEYOND Immerse yourself in the aquatic wonders of the gulf and beyond. Explore the diverse habitats of Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana with fun field trips and outdoor activities. Highlights: day trips to Dauphin Island Sea Lab, Ocean Springs, Gulfport, the Louisiana bayou, and New Orleans. You will do everything from lab dissections to shark/dolphin exploration to aquarium visiting and boat tours!
